Orga widebore cylinder need mods?

Postby Jay Shin on Wed Dec 05, 2018 11:59 pm

I'm considering to buy a Orga widebore cylinder.
But i've heard the issues that Orga cylinder needs some mods to make it fit to the receiver.

Does any one know about it? Please give me a clue.
My ptw is made of all the genuine stock parts except the innerbarrel and hopup bucking (Orga I replaced.)

If you're buying an orga 6.13 363mm barrel, then you can just use a regular systema unported cylinder (M90 or M150) without losing power.

I've got an unported cylinder with an M130 doing 420 on the nose with my 363 6.13 orga.

If you're using a longer orga barrel, well, you don't need to run a longer barrel, for any reason, ever.

That being said, there's also no reason in the world to buy an orga barrel. There is factually 0 advantage to have a wider bore.
The systema 6.04 barrels are just as good. Exact same performance, don't have to worry about cylinder to barrel volume.
