After trying about 10 different types of bb in my PTW's for minimum chopping and maximum accuracy I also found Madbull Match .25's to be excellent and use these 99% of the time now. Madbull dark knight .25 tracer's are also good if that's your thing.

I favour the match grade but the regular precision's are just fine.

iv used anything between G&G JBU KSC Toytec and found SRC lately to work the best .. So i want to try madbull maybe

Biovals are brilliant. They are accurate and very fast. They do (however) damage your cylinder nozzles as Tack stated. The good news is that Tack can then earn money fixing your cylinders as he did with mine. It is such a shame that they damage the nozzles as they were super accurate.

As an aside though, I still use them in my single stack MEU

There is a retailer in Canada (the official Bioval distributor) who claims that the BBBMax was designed for PTW use and that the US military uses it for training with their PTWs. Needless to say I gave him a piece of my mind.

That being said, I really liked the Madbull IPSC 0.30g when I had them. No misfeeds, and I liked the weight with the modified hop-up.

Yeah I think I'll sacrifice using BBs that are not-so-perfect in order to save myself the money to purchase new cylinder parts. If I need to, I'll get in closer for a better shot. Im military trained, after all

Tack is 100% correct, gave some to my boss and he f'd up his nozzle to the point it had to be dremeled before it would release from the hop-up. Oh well... I had bought 3 bags in anticipation but I guess I now have pistol ammo (and lots of it) If anyone wants some shoot me a PM and we can work out something.

murshin maxi bbs are the best bbs I have seen in the ptw. I have tried all the best of the best bbs and they are by far the best I have seen. they have been in many test on the internet and come out the best becides supergrand masters and muri supergrade but those only come 500 at a time. the maxi bbs are a little expencive but very well worth it. 2000 I think goes normaly for $16.00 usd . if you havent tried these bbs you really should just try a box. I have been useing the maxi .25's since I bought my 07 brand new. There are a few bbs that work great but I have seen no other bb perform better than these for me. I do think the bbb max would perform better and I bought a bag to try out, but before I did A friend took a few to use at a game in his own ptw and had to replace his nozzel and hop up chamber(just like Tac said) so I was glad I never got to try them in mine.

i dont mean to semi-necro the topic; but is this problem (damaging of nozzel, etc) just w/ the Bioval Max .27; or any of the weights (.2/3/5, .30)

I also don't wish to necro the post, but...

I bought a bag of Bioval .27 BB's. Heard about them and bought them to see what the big deal was.
I did a crush test against a .20 and .25 Airsoft Elite BIO BB's. No deformation on the Biovals.
I also shot a couple rounds into a plastic garbage can. Some of the AE BB's shattered, the Biovals did not shatter and left a nice size welt in the bottom of the can.

I can see why these are damaging nozzles and hop-ups. What I want to know is why.
Are there misfeeding issues leading to damage?
Can these misfeeding problems be blamed on the magazine (dirty, overloaded, weak follower)?
Is there a problem with the gun itself (hop-up mis-aligned, etc.)?

I can always use them in my Echo1 RedStar AK (I dont care if I break that gun)

DO NOT use these under any circumstances as they will ruin your day.

The problem is their surface texture. rather than slide over one another (BB's need to do this in a double stacked mag) they grip, stick and jump.

This means that they do not feed properly (especialy in cold weather) and istead of chopping the BB the hop unit and the hardened steel airseal nozzel are damaged.

This is beacsuse the BB becomes trapped between the nozzel and hop unit and when the piston comes flying back it hammers on into the other.

Result: Replacement hop body and airseal nozzel required.

I had 5 PTW's go down in the space of 10 minutes using these, including one of my own.

They are the roundest most straight shooting BB out there, but do not use them in your PTW.

Read this post from the first page buddy. It'll tell you exactly why...!
