Hi all, just received a '07 ptw without the motor (the motor has been parted out for another '08 ptw and i bought the '07 without it)

Mounted one 480 motor i had in stock and tested, i have a problem: everytime i connect a battery the motor spin also without to press the trigger.
Same problem in safe, single and auto...

What i can test to find the fault part ?
Any one know how to test the EL001 (3 wire model) and the EL003 (2007 version with clear plastic on it) with a tester?

tested without the el002 switch board connected - same problem
tested without the motor and i have the battery voltage on the cables
cheked the cables to see if i have a "corto" from a cable to the lower receiver, nothing
disassembled GB stocktube motor gripper - same problem

thank you

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!!!!!
The problem was the black wire from the EL001 to the EL003 board. Changed the 3wire cable now the ptw spin very well : )
i found more info here: http://www.systema-ptw.it/forum/viewthr ... ead_id=574

Thank you macguyver and tac (via pm) for help and cooperation!

Got the same problem, though i talked to tac and he said it was almost certainly the EL 003 that was fried :( But i got a new systema -08 EL 002 on the way, since that is the only part i havent switched since i upgraded to 07 electronics (from ctw first gen). So the el 002 is still ctw first gen.

If that doesnt work il order a complete ctw 2010 electronics set.

I didn't think your could mix and match '07 and '08 electronics?

the 08 El 002 is kind of the same as 07? Though the El 003 and 001 is different i think. The El003 as 4 pin with the 08 verison and 3 pin with the 07.

Got the El 002 today and still the same problem. Now i got CTW 2010 gen eletronics on the way, gonna trie that. 140 dollars for El001+El002+El003 brand new. Hope that will work :)
